Rockville, MD – Donaldson introduced several exciting additions to its portfolio of properties and held its highly anticipated annual awards ceremony during a virtual All Hands meeting on Friday, March 22. The awards ceremony included the 2023 Property Awards, the Nubon Ealey H.E.R.O. Award, and the Employee of the Year Award.
Donaldson President Scott Altman and SVP of HR Jeanette Stahli named Andrea White from PeachTree of McLean, as Donaldson’s 2023 Employee of the Year. Altman called Andrea a truly amazing addition to the PeachTree team, excelling in her role as the Assistant Property Manager to support her property manager, the leasing team, and the maintenance team. Since being at PeachTree, Andrea has lowered delinquency rates significantly. Altman described her as motivated, hardworking, and dedicated to perfecting her craft.
SVP of Operations Angelique Wheelock announced this year’s winner of the Nubon Ealey H.E.R.O. award, which stands for “Helping Everyone Reach Objectives,” is 20-year Donaldson employee Manuel Villanueva. Executive Vice President Scott Jones presented the award to Manuel who is the Service Manager of Montgomery White Oak. Manuel was lauded for modeling excellence for his peers and the community as well as taking on new challenges and exhibiting teamwork.
Donaldson CEO Carl Einsel introduced several new properties that Donaldson added to its management portfolio earlier this year. The communities include:
- North Pointe in Hyattsville
- Dominion Towers in Arlington
- Infinity Apartment Homes in Arlington
- The Jefferson in Falls Church
- Potomac Ridge in Woodbridge.
Donaldson is excited to welcome these communities to the Donaldson family of properties.
Einsel also formally introduced Donaldson’s new controller, Mengtong Zhang, who he called a valuable addition to the team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
Centerstage were the annual property awards presented by Misti Mitchell, SVP of Property Management. Property awards are based on objective resident surveys and continuous monitoring of properties and customer service throughout the year.
The winners are:
Arbor Crest Senior Apartments in Silver Spring earned the Highest Resident Satisfaction Award for 2023 which measured residents’ sense of community, maintenance, customer service, and value.
Regency Club Townhomes & Apartments won three awards on the
night including: the Most Improved Resident Satisfaction award which celebrates team commitment to excellence and always striving for improvement; the Maintenance Rapid Response Award and repeated last year’s Maintenance Professionalism Award which measures key areas that residents care about such as friendliness, showing respect, and building relationships.
PeachTree of Mclean earned the Highest Rated Sales Experience award and the award for Most Improved Sales Experience went to Rivermont Crossing Townhomes & Apartments of Chester. The initial sales experience for potential applicants is a crucial measurement of how Donaldson is doing overall in customer service as well as how our product compares with other competing communities.
