Rockville, MD (February 24, 2024) – Donaldson is honored to have received the Corporate Support Award from the Hope Marietta Foundation, a charitable organization that raises awareness of pediatric congenital heart defects. Donaldson’s receipt of the award underscores its dedication to volunteer efforts and to helping community members in need, two pillars of the Donaldson Cares mission.
Carl Einsel, CEO, accepted the award on behalf of Donaldson at Hope Marietta’s annual Hope for Hearts Casino Night, the largest charity event for congenital heart defects in the DC Metro area.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from the Hope Marietta Foundation,” said Carl Einsel. “At Donaldson, we believe in the power of community, and we’re committed to continuing our support for organizations like the Hope Marietta Foundation and contributing to positive change in our community.”
Over three hundred supporters, medical professionals, and community members attended this year’s casino night. Attendees enjoyed casino games, gourmet food, music, dancing, and prizes.
“The Hope for Hearts Casino Night event raises funds to help the Hope Marietta Foundation in our mission to serve the DC-area families who are affected by congenital heart defects [CHD],” said Adam Armiger, Event Founder of the Hope Marietta Foundation. “This would be impossible for us to do without the generous support of corporate leaders like Donaldson. Having them as a part of our event serves as an inspiration to other companies and sends a meaningful message to the heart community; Donaldson has a vested interest in providing support to families in their community who are doing their best to navigate the challenges of caring for a child with CHD.”
